Bashkortostan hospitals received modern ambulances for newborns medical evacuation

UFA, 29 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. Medical organizations of Bashkiria received eight reanimation ambulance cars. The Republican Children's Clinical Hospital and the G.G. Kuvatov’s Republican Clinical Hospital received per three vehicles, the City Children's Clinical Hospital No. 17 in Ufa - two vehicles, the regional Health Ministry reports. Over 58 million rubles were allocated from the republican budget for the purchase of ambulance cars.

The reanimation ambulances are Mercedes-Benz class "C" vehicles with maximum possible technical characteristics for medical evacuation, including of newborns. They are equipped with all necessary medical equipment with the functions to monitor life support, an artificial lung ventilation apparatus and inhalation anesthesia, an electric defibrillator, an electric cardiograph, a glucose analyzer. The reanimation ambulances of the Children's Clinical Hospital and the Children's Clinical Hospital No. 17 are equipped especially for newborns and small children. They have an incubator for newborns, a neonatal monitor, and an artificial lung ventilation apparatus for newborns. It includes a reanimation neonatal kit for emergency medical care.

The new vehicles for the evacuation of newborns will allow transporting newborn children with very low weight, and with extremely low body weight. According to the Minister of Health of Bashkortostan Anvar Bakirov, the ambulances fleet will be replenished and the next year too.
