Independent quality assessment: Bashkiria's healthcare is best among Russian regions

UFA, 22 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Healthcare in Bashkiria this year ranked first among 85 subjects of the country for an independent assessment of the services quality provided by medical organizations. The sum of points scored by all criteria was 136.98.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Health RB, 91 institutions were included in the independent quality assessment, including 60 hospitals and polyclinics subordinated to the regional Ministry of Health, 18 non-governmental organizations participating in the implementation of the State guarantees program in the republic, eight sanatoriums and five health facilities in the structure of other departments. A total of about 98 thousand questionnaires were filled in a year. Patients assessed transparency and accessibility of information on medical facilities, comfort of the conditions for the provision of services, including for people with disabilities, satisfaction with the services quality, waiting time for the service, benevolence, courtesy and competence of health workers.
