Most problematic countries for Russian tourists are named

UFA, 20 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation named the most problematic countries for Russian tourists. "Interfax" referring to the head of the Situation-Crisis Center of the Russian Foreign Ministry Vladimir Tarabrin informs that most often Russian citizens face problems during their holidays in Thailand, Turkey, the Dominican Republic, Bulgaria and India.

"Mostly we are talking about accidents, thefts, robberies, water accidents, as well as accidents in the mountains - with climbers and alpinists," explained Vladimir Tarabrin.

In his opinion, more often emergency situations occur in countries with a rich tourist flow.

The diplomat also mentioned countries with a terrorist threat, not recommended for tourists at all, for example, the north-east of Nigeria, where the terrorist group "West African Province of the Islamic State" (the former "Boko Haram", banned in Russia) operates, as well as Afghanistan.
