The well-known ophthalmologist Ernst Muldashev organized an expedition to the South Urals to look for stone people, reports «Bashkortostan» TV and Radio Company. This time he led a group of scientists to the south of the republic - Uchaly district, where, by the way, the world famous Akhunov Menhirs are located. The megalithic complex near the village of Ahunovo is called the "Bashkir Stonehenge" and the oldest observatory in Europe.

Professor Muldashev believes that there is a special mystery in the stones, which, perhaps, goes beyond science. He believes that there is a kind of stone life on Earth. Legends of the whole world tell about it. It is mentioned about stone creatures and in the Bashkir epos "Ural-Batyr". By the way, stones are still perceived as living beings in the Altai and Mongolia.

The local hunter Rasim Mukhametshin believes that stone creatures were once alive, moved on three legs, but once they froze on some command, the TV company cites the opinion of the resident of these places.
