Rustem Khamitov supported "Managorye" mountain ski project

UFA, 15 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. During a personal reception of citizens by the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov, the farmer Shamil Zaripov from Iglino district informed that the area near the Managorye village was favorable for the tourism development.

A few years ago a foreign investor planned to build a ski resort there. However, the project was not implemented due to the destruction of the bridge over the River Lemeza during the flood of 2010.

In 2010-2011, at the expense of extra-budgetary sources, the construction of a new bridge began, but due to lack of funds it was suspended. To date, the project documentation for the object is not available; the continuation of works requires significant funds - more than 50 million rubles.

The Head of the Region inquired about the state of the road from the M-5 highway to the village of Managorye. According to Shamil Zaripov, about 6 km of 22 km are asphalted.

The farmer displayed photographs of the area, showed on the map slopes with significant elevations - about 300 m.

The Head of Bashkortostan noted that the ski resorts "from scratch" had good prospects, since modern approaches can be used at the design stage without correcting previous drawbacks.

Rustem Khamitov instructed the Government of the Republic to consider a possibility of completing the construction of the bridge and to study the prospects of the Managorye project, including from the point of view of a ski resort establishing.
