Ufa Aviation University received status of federal innovation venue

UFA, 14 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Ufa State Aviation Technical University (USATU) was given a status of a federal innovation venue until 2023 by the order of the Ministry of Education and Science of Russia. This status was given to the university for the first time. USATU is the only higher educational institution in Bashkortostan included in the list of 77 federal innovation venues.

USATU entered the top 20 of the country's leading universities, including Belgorod State National Research University, Siberian Federal University, Novosibirsk National Research University.

The purpose of creating federal innovation venues: ensuring modernization and development of the education system, taking into account the main directions of the socio-economic development of the Russian Federation, implementation of priority areas of the state policy of the Russian Federation in the field of education.

The network of federal innovation venues is managed by a specially created body - a Coordination Council for Innovative Infrastructure Formation and Functioning in Education.
