Monthly payment for first and second child should correspond to living standard in region - Russian Labor Ministry
UFA, 11 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. In Russia, an average monthly payment for the first and second child will amount to 10.5 thousand rubles. This is reported by "RIA Novosti", citing the words of the Minister of Labor and Social Protection Maxim Topilin.
Residents of the Belgorod region will receive a minimum amount, the residents of the Chukotka Autonomous District a maximum one.
"The idea is that the amount of payment should correspond to the standard of living in the region, so we are guided by the regional child subsistence minimum. The amount of benefits during the next 2018 will correspond to the child subsistence minimum in the second quarter of 2017 in the region", said the head of the department.
Families will receive a direct benefit since January. Money will be paid until the child reaches a year and a half age.
As reported by the Bashinform News Agency, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that from January 2018 in Russia would be established a monthly payment for the birth of the first child up to one and a half years age. The amount of payments will be calculated from the amount of the subsistence minimum of the child established in the subject of the Federation. On average, it will amount to 10,523 rubles in 2018, 10,836 rubles in 2019, and 11,143 rubles in 2020.
