Record food art: world's largest New-Year tree from chak-chak will be cooked in Bashkiria

UFA, 7 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galina Bakhshieva/. On the eve of the New Year in one of the largest shopping malls of the Bashkir capital, a symbolic food art in the form of a New-Year tree from chak-chak (national Bashkir dessert) will be cooked on December 10. Anyone will be able to taste it.
The unusual New-Year tree will be as high as possible and cooked from the fluffiest chak-chak. Guests, pop stars will decorate the New-Year tree with powdered sugar, toppings and other sweets. This was reported to the Bashinform News Agency by the State Committee of Trade and Commerce of Bashkortostan.
It will take 200 kg of flour, 360 eggs, 50 kg of sugar and honey, 50 liters of vegetable oil and 8 kg of melted butter to cook this chak-chak claiming to become a world record.
The festival will feature opera singer, the Honored Artist of Russia Gennady Rodionov, famous author-performer, comic Alexander Lynnik and, of course, Grandfather Frost and Snow Maiden.
As the organizers, the club of restaurateurs «bUffet» say, the chak-chak in the form of the New-Year tree is a decoration, which has a symbolic meaning. Such a treat is intended to become a message of peace throughout the world, good-neighborliness and hospitality, family values and traditions of the Muslim population of Russia.
