Ufa entered Top 10 Russian cities for New Year's air destinations

The Federal Agency for Tourism, together with tourist aggregators and booking services, found out where the Russians would go for the New Year holidays.

According to Biletix service, the early sales of air tickets in Russia, committed in June-October for the New Year holidays, increased by 21% compared to the same period last year. The most popular destinations for air travel were Sochi (3% of total sales), Mineralnye Vody (2%), Simferopol (1.4%), Yekaterinburg (1.2%), Krasnoyarsk (1%), St. Petersburg (1 %), Rostov-on-Don (0.9%), Ufa (0.9%), Krasnodar (0.8%) and Omsk (0.7%).

It is reported that at the same time, the average cost of air tickets for internal flights decreased by 8%, from 7460 to 6902 rubles.

In November in Bashkortostan a tourist train "Legend of the Urals" began to run along the route Ufa-Novoabzakovo-Ufa. The special train runs three times a week - on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. The ticket costs 600 rubles, it includes the delivery of passengers by bus to the ski resort. Regional beneficiaries and full-time students receive a 50% discount.
