Bashkir Medical University will bring together best students-surgeons of Russia and foreign countries

UFA, 4 December 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Bashkir State Medical University will bring together the best students-surgeons of the country on its venue. On December 5, the All-Russian Olympiad on Surgery with international participation will start at the university.

Participants from the medical colleges of the Russian Federation, as well as the teams from the medical faculty of Mannheim University of Heidelberg (Germany), Harbin Medical University, Sichuan University (China), Akhunbaev’s Kirghiz Medical Academy registered for the event. Our surgeons will be represented by the international team of Bashkir State Medical University. Participants are senior students.

Valeria Kubyshkina, the Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences, who has been acting as the chief surgeon of Russia for a long time is the chairman of the jury. Experts under her supervision will assess the skills of suturing a stab-cut wound of the heart, the сoronary artery bypass surgery and other procedures. Endoscopic and anatomical contests will also be held.

The Olympiad will last for two days. It is held under the auspices of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
