Rustem Khamitov: "A number of jubilee facilities are already at a high level of readiness"

UFA, 28 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov held a meeting of the Republican Organizing Committee for the preparation and celebration of the 100th anniversary of the republic’s formation.

"You know that the list of 100 objects of culture, education, sports, housing and communal services, which are to be built during 2017-2019, has been approved. A number of facilities are already at a high degree of readiness. This is good", said Rustem Khamitov. "At the same time, we understand that there are areas that we need to accomplish yet".

The Deputy Prime Minister RB Salavat Sagitov, the Minister of Culture of the Republic of Bashkortostan Amina Shafikova, the Minister of Sports and Youth Policy RB Andrey Ivanuta, the President of the Academy of Sciences RB Alfis Gayazov, heads of municipalities reported on the progress of construction of facilities and preparation of events in supervised areas. Rustem Khamitov pointed out to a significant backlog in a number of facilities in terms of preparing design estimates, commencement of construction and installation works.

The President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry RB Azat Fazlyev spoke about the participation of business structures in preparation for the anniversary. Thus, 51 objects have entered the list of industrial construction projects for the total amount of 27 billion rubles.

The Head of the Republic instructed to intensify works on the construction of jubilee facilities, emphasizing that it was necessary to monitor the effectiveness of spending budget funds and to avoid unreasonably increasing the estimated cost of facilities.
