Bashkir surgeons master new technique for prompt elimination of cardiac arrhythmia

UFA, 23 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. In Bashkortostan, X-ray surgeons will correct cardiac rhythm pathology according to a new technique. To do this, doctors first create a 3D model of the left atrium of a particular patient. As a result of this preoperative approach, the surgical procedure itself goes faster.

The new technique for surgeons of the Bashkir State Medical University clinic is mastered under the supervision of a colleague from Novosibirsk. Surprisingly, but the most complex heart surgery is performed under local anesthesia. Within a day, the patient is transferred to the therapy department and in another couple of days he is discharged from the hospital, the "Rossiya 1 Bashkortostan" TV reports.

Doctors say that in the treatment of cardiac fibrillation such surgery will become, perhaps, the most popular.
