Bashkiria delegation will take part in events dedicated to 20th anniversary of "Friends of Bashkortostan" association in Germany

UFA, 10 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. From November 19 to 23, a delegation of the Republic of Bashkortostan, headed by the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government RB Salavat Sagitov, will visit the cities of Halle, Dresden and Leipzig of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The events will be held in order to strengthen cultural cooperation between Bashkortostan and Germany, create favorable conditions for successful development of many-sided ties between the cities of Ufa and Halle, and friendly connections with compatriots living in Germany.

In the city of Halle, the republican delegation will take part in the events of the Jubilee Week, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the foundation of the Friends of Bashkortostan association. Residents of the cities of Halle and Dresden will see concerts of Bashkortostan masters of arts. Also a photo exhibition, films screenings by Bashkir filmmakers, participation in the opening ceremony of a commemorative plaque in the city of Halle, an official meeting in the city hall are planned.

Within the framework of the Days of Culture, meetings with compatriots and laying flowers to the monuments of Bashkir warriors participating in the Russian army's foreign campaigns in the cities of Leipzig and Dresden are planned, the press service of the Government RB informs.

As reported by Bashinform News Agency, the festive week in Germany on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of twin cities of Ufa and Halle and the 20th anniversary of the "Friends of Bashkortostan" association will be closed with a solo concert of the Moscow-based Bashkir group "Zaman".
