UFA, 2 November 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. In Bashkiria it is offered to equip schools with special equipment for studying the traffic rules. This initiative was announced during a meeting of the public council of the "Safe Roads" project of the "United Russia" party.
Classrooms should have equipment for visual training. Also thematic films and videos can be shown there, the party's press service reports.
According to the deputy of the State Duma, the regional coordinator of the "Safe Roads" project Zarif Baiguskarov the best option would be opening of car driving grounds at schools. Currently there are only two in the republic; they function in Ufa and Kumertau.
During the meeting, Zarif Baiguskarov told about innovations in the federal legislation in terms of road safety. Nail Gizzatullin, the Deputy Chairman of the State Assembly Committee for Housing Policy and Infrastructure Development mentioned the statistics of accidents in the republic and measures taken to reduce their number. The parliamentarian reported on the recent changes made to the Road Safety Code RB, and also that Bashkortostan was included in the pilot list of territories where the "Safe and Quality Roads" priority project would be implemented.
During the meeting, representatives of cities and districts of the republic were included in the composition of the public council for joint work conducting.
