Rustem Khamitov: "Being among top ten regions of our country means significant, good progress"

Today during a meeting of the Council under the Head of the Republic of Bashkortostan on the e-learning development, Rustem Khamitov recalled that this year Bashkortostan entered the Top-10 IT development rating of the Russian regions by the results of 2017.

As previously reported by Bashinform News Agency, the republic significantly improved its position in the rating prepared by the Ministry of Communications and Mass Media of Russia, moving immediately by 24 points - from 31st to seventh. This was due to the implementation in Bashkortostan of major projects in the field of education, health care, transport, e-Government, establishment of public access centers on the basis of employment centers, district and city libraries.

"I always say that being among the top ten regions of the country is a significant, good progress", stressed Rustem Khamitov.

The head of the republic also noted that a month ago the project "Modern Digital Educational Environment" won the federal competition "PROF-IT", including due to the presented model for e-learning of public and municipal employees.

In addition, in September, a trilateral agreement on cooperation between the State Committee for IT Development with the Union of Industrial and Environmental Safety Experts and the Ufa Training Center Bashneftekhim in the part of e-training of employees of industrial enterprises on the republican portal "Electronic Education" was signed. This year the development of another 20 electronic courses related to oil and gas industry, industrial safety and labor protection is completed.
