This is reported by the media with reference to the forecasts of experts from the Laboratory of X-ray Astronomy of the Sun of the Lebedev Physical Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. From today, an increase in the flux of solar matter is expected. Experts believe that perturbations will grow into a magnetic storm with a probability of 65%.

The upcoming magnetic storm can have two-point strength. On a five-point scale of storms, this is estimated as a moderate storm.

On October 13-14 earthlings already felt a portion of the solar wind, which brought a magnetic storm. Experts believe that a magnetic storm can lead to malfunctions in the operation of electronic devices, in particular, communication equipment, and also increases the risk of anthropogenic accidents. In addition, such phenomena can cause discomfort to people with increased meteosensitivity.
