USPTU signed agreement with University of Syria

UFA, 16 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. On October 16, the delegation of Syrian Private University from the city of Damascus - Rector Nazir Ibrahim and the Dean of the Oil and Gas Department Maher Saadeh visited Ufa State Petroleum Technological University.

From the part of USPTU, the rector of Ufa State Petroleum Technological University Ramil Bakhtizin, pro-rector for external relations Marat Khusainov and the head of the International Cooperation Department Nail Chanyshev took part in the negotiations.

The purpose of the visit of the Syrian guests was acquaintance with the university and discussing the prospects for cooperation: exchange of scientific visits of teachers and staff, joint scientific research, joint counseling of post-graduate students from Syria, exchange of periodic and scientific publications and participation in scientific events in universities, cooperation in teaching senior students and graduates, scholarship support for the best Syrian Private University graduates for postgraduate studies at USPTU.

During the visit, an agreement on cooperation was signed between Ufa State Petroleum Technological University and Syrian Private University. Ramil Bakhtizin expressed his hope for further mutually beneficial partnership of universities in his welcoming speech.

In conclusion of the visit, the USPTU rector Ramil Bakhtizin and the SPU rector Nazir Ibrahim exchanged memorable gifts.
