Flu vaccine was received in full by Bashkiria

UFA, 13 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Bashkortostan received the last batch of flu vaccine. To date, SOVIGRIP influenza vaccines have been delivered to the republic at the expense of the federal budget in full (175,000 doses - for immunization of children, 1,250,000 doses for immunization of adults).

Thus, the supply of the vaccine is 100% complete. Now it is distributed to medical organizations.

In the 2017-2018 epidemic period, 1,600,000 people (40% of the population), including 350,000 children and 1,250,000 adults, are scheduled to be vaccinated against flu in the national calendar of preventive vaccinations.

Within the framework of the "Healthcare Development of Bashkortostan Republic" state program the Grippol® Plus vaccine was purchased with the budgetary funds in the amount of more than 4.6 thousand doses for immunization of persons not included in the national calendar of preventive vaccinations and pregnant women.

Vaccination of the population against flu is planned to be completed by November 1.

Medical specialists strongly recommend residents of Bashkortostan to make time to come to a polyclinic and get a flu shot.
