In coming years more than 10 schools will be built in Bashkiria in new neighborhoods

UFA, 10 October 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. Over the next few years more than 10 schools will be built in the newly built districts of the republic. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov stated this today at the opening of Lyceum No.161 in the Dema neighborhood.
"We need immediately, right now about 10-12 schools, we needed them already yesterday. It relates to newly built neighborhoods, to the territories where old schools are reconstructed", said the head of the region. "I have formulated this assignment to the Government. In the next two or three years, I think we will build another 10-15 new schools, where there is an urgent need for them".
The head of the republic also noted that until 2025 the evening shift in schools will be completely eliminated. To date, about 20 percent of schoolchildren, especially in cities, are still forced to study on the evening shifts.
"This kind of work will be continued in all directions. I understand that this, of course, demands a lot of resources. But it is worth it. Moreover, we should direct our resources to education, to activities related to the preparation of our children", said Rustem Khamitov. "Now we are thinking about the opening of a specialized physics and mathematics lyceum where the children will have in-depth options for studying mathematics and physics. In a new way, work will be organized with gifted children. Approximately 10 percent of children demonstrate outstanding abilities in different areas. Also these children need an appropriate training. So the work on construction of schools, their modernization, reformatting the learning processes will be continued".
