Choosing Bashkortostan capital as venue for "Apimondia-2021" Congress is logical - Rustem Khamitov

The choice of Ufa as the capital of the congress is logical, commented the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov on the decision to hold the International Congress of Beekeepers "Apimondia" and the "ApiExpo" exhibition in the capital of Bashkortostan in 2021.

"We carefully preserve the traditions of our ancestors in wild honey collection – wild hive beekeeping. The very concept of "Bashkir honey" has long been an actual brand of our republic and an indisputable sign of the highest quality", the head of the republic noted. "I am sure that holding a congress in Russia will give a new impetus to the development of the beekeeping industry, will enrich the experience of our specialists. At the same time, it will promote the "Bashkir honey" brand all over the world, open new markets for our product. I would like to add that the victory of our bid once again confirms a status of the capital of Bashkortostan as an international congress center. All conditions for hosting major international events are created here. I have no doubt that "Apimondia-2021" will be held in Russia at the highest level".
