Russian and foreign surgeons will conduct again operations for children with facial defects in Ufa

On September 24, in Ufa, the annual charity event of the international medical charity "Operation Smile" starts at the Republican Children's Clinical Hospital. The campaign is called to provide on time and for free quality treatment to children with congenital cleft lip, palate and other facial deformities.

The operations for young patients will be conducted during the week by the leading Russian and foreign specialists in the field of maxillofacial surgery. The campaign takes place in Ufa for the fourth time.

According to statistics, about 200 children with congenital facial defects are born in Bashkortostan every year.
