Runners raised more than 250 thousand rubles in favor of sick children at Ufa International Marathon

On Sunday, September 17, during # BEGUPOMOGU charity event within the framework of the Ufa International Marathon 263 thousand rubles were raised in favor of sick children. The Charity Educational Foundation "Marhamat" became the initiator of the campaign.

Among the runners were famous people, who ran the race in support of certain children patronized by the children's development center of the Foundation. For example, the Minister of Natural Resources and Environment of the Republic of Bashkortostan Ildar Khadyev ran in favor of 10-year-old Amalia Gaitova with cerebral palsy and diabetes. The Thai boxing coach Sasha Brooks participated in the race in favor of Amina Pozolotina, who suffered a severe spinal injury in a terrible accident that took the lives of both her parents. Alla Ishbuldina ran with her family to help the seven-year-old Almaz Muzhaylo with behavioral abnormalities. The campaign was also supported by the soloists of the Bashkir State Opera and Ballet Theater Lyubov Butorina, Jan Leishe and Regina Zvegintseva. They ran in favor of the seven-year-old Artemiy Komarov diagnosed with severe cerebral palsy. City Council deputy Joseph Marach became the marathon participant to help the four-year-old Ayaz and Niyaz Kayumovs with a functional impairment.
