Special schools of Sterlitamak, Salavat, Ishimbai received new sports equipment

UFA, 15 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. Special schools for disabled children of Sterlitamak, Salavat, Ishimbay and Voskresenskoye received new sports equipment. The Rima Batalova Foundation "Youth of the Nation" handed over kits for sports activities for children studying in special schools within the framework of the "Educate the Champion" project.

The program implemented since 2014, is aimed at social adaptation of children with disabilities and the development of children's and youth sports in Bashkortostan. Previously, training devices and equipment have already been received by 15 boarding schools in different regions of the republic. This equipment is now actively used by more than three thousand children with disabilities, the Foundation reports.

"Thanks to this support, children achieve great results in sports. They are aware of the high level of attention and responsibility. This inspires them to practice, maintains a competitive spirit and creates motivation for victory. Thus, we help coaches to educate new champions," said Rima Batalova.
