"I Love Ufa" sign was transformed by upcoming international marathon in Ufa

UFA, 15 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. The "I Love Ufa" art-object located on the Two Fountains Square was decorated with colors of the Ufa International Marathon. This is reported by the press officer of the Ufa International Marathon Svetlana Kulikova. At the heart of the composition now an athlete overcoming the distance, honeycombs as a symbol of Bashkiria, date of the race and a link to the site of the marathon are depicted. Creative work was done by the artist-illustrator Anastasia Litvinchuk.

On September 17, Ufa will host the main racing event of the year, which will bring together about 3,500 participants from 40 regions and 200 cities of Russia, as well as from 15 countries. Athletes will have to overcome four distances of 42.2 km, 21.1 km, 10 or 3 km at option. The route of the race will take place along historical sights and streets of the city with the start and finish at the Dynamo stadium. Participants will have to run along the most picturesque route - on their way they will see the Monument to Salavat Yulaev, the Two Fountains Square, the Congress Hall, the "Ufa-Arena" ice palace.
