Art object appeared in new park in Ufa

UFA, 7 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. In Ufa, an art object appeared in the new park on October Avenue opposite the "Mir" shopping mall. This is a milestone with directions and distances: 1257 verst (833 miles) to Moscow, 4381 verst (2904 miles)- to Beijing.

The art object is associated with history. As reported by the city administration, earlier in this place was the Great Siberian Road or the Old Siberian Way. It stretched from Moscow to China. On this route the merchants, scientists, travelers moved to the east, there was an exchange of goods between provinces.

The height of the stele is 3.5 meters. The metal frame is made of a profile pipe and is covered with sheet metal. Decorative elements are cut by plasma cutting. The stele is treated with an anticorrosive compound, painted and covered with two layers of paint. The stele became the central art-object in the new park of the Soviet district of Ufa.
