Two times monthly precipitation norm fell in Ufa for two hours

UFA, 5 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. Yesterday, on September 4, two times monthly precipitation norm fell for two hours in Ufa. According to preliminary estimates, 115 mm of precipitation fell, as the norm is 53 mm for September in Ufa. As a result, the city was clogged in 10-point jams, several city buildings were flooded.

As the city administration informs, municipal services of the city work in an enhanced mode. Work is under way to clean storm sewers along the streets of Komsomolskaya, 50 let SSSR, Zhukov, Bikbai, Armavirskaya, Salavat Yulaev and October Avenues and other highways.

Water brought debris, stones and branches of trees on the roadways of the city. These consequences of the downpour are also eliminated promptly by the city services employees round-the-clock.
