Survivor after barracks collapse in Omsk made parachute jump

UFA, 5 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. Rustam Nabiev, survived after a collapse of barracks in Omsk, made a parachute jump. It was a cherished dream of the draftee from Bashkortostan who lost both legs in that tragedy. The brave guy told his subscribers in social networks about his next achievement.
"It was contrary to all restrictions and stereotypes about people with disabilities. Another dream to my dream-box - 3 000 meters and 5 minutes of adrenaline", he wrote.
Having lost his legs, Rustam Nabiyev did not lose faith in his own strength. He became a professional hockey player and in the framework of the Week of Hockey Stars in Ufa he won the title of the champion of the International Cup of the continent as part of the Russian national team in sledge hockey.
The collapse of the barracks in Omsk occurred in mid-July 2015. As a result of the tragedy, 23 servicemen were killed. Among them five soldiers were from Bashkiria - Rustam Shaykhullin from Salavat district, Rustam Yumagulov from Sibay, Ranis Altynbaev from Salavat district, Fidan Mamliev from Chekmagush district, Vadim Nafikov from Beloretsk.
