Russian doctors will adopt common standards for patients treatment

UFA, 5 September 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Galiya Nabieva/. By 2019, Russian doctors will be offered to treat patients according to the system of clinical recommendations, which introduction was begun in 2017. This is reported by Izvestia with reference to the Ministry of Health. Despite the recommendatory nature of the initiative, in case of disputes a doctor shall have to explain his deviation from the rules.

Doctors are offered specific actions in treatment of diseases: medicines, methods of diagnosis and treatment are listed. By the end of next year, this system should be extended to all regions.

"Since 2017, this system is beginning to be introduced everywhere through the automated workplaces of doctors. Implementation should be completed in all regions before the end of 2018", Izvestia was told by the department representatives.
