Population immunization plan against flu has been increased to 1.6 million people in Bashkiria

In Bashkiria, a plan for immunizing the population against the flu has been increased to 1.6 million people, the Health Ministry RB reports. In 2017, the plan to immunize the population against the flu in the national calendar of preventive vaccinations has been increased to 1.6 million people, which is 40 percent of the republican population. Of these, adults are 1.25 million people, children - 350 thousand.

The first batches of influenza vaccine were delivered to the republic in August. They will be distributed to polyclinics and hospitals for immunization of schoolchildren and students, medical workers, employees of educational institutions, housing and communal services and transport.

During the autumn and spring of 2016-2017, 1.47 million people were vaccinated in the republic, including 300,000 children.
