Bashkiria employers will receive 278 million rubles for labor protection preventive measures

UFA, 30 August 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. In Bashkortostan, 278 million rubles will be allocated for labor protection preventive measures in 2017. The funds allocated by the regional Directorate of the Social Insurance Fund of the Russian Federation will be received by more than 2.5 thousand employers in the framework of financing preventive measures to reduce occupational injuries and occupational diseases.

As reported by the Social Insurance Fund in Bashkortostan, employers of Bashkortostan will direct the largest part of the funds - more than 87.5 million rubles this year to health resort treatment of workers employed in harmful conditions. Another 76 million rubles will be used for the purchase of personal protective equipment, 68 million rubles for mandatory medical examinations. About 20 million rubles will be allocated for a special assessment of working conditions.

Since 2010, the amount of funds allocated by the regional Directorate of the Fund and the number of employers applying for it has increased 2.5 times.

On average, over one thousand occupational accidents are registered in the republic for a year, the department informs.
