Bashkiria residents will have long weekends in early September

UFA, 29 August 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Ksenia Kalinina/. In connection with the celebration of Eid al-Adha September 1, 2017 is declared a non-working holiday. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Labor of the Republic of Bashkortostan with reference to the relevant resolution of the Government RB dated October 18, 2016.
In 2017, the non-working holiday Eid al-Adha falls on Friday, so the duration of working hours on Thursday August 31 is reduced by one hour.
The agency explained that with a five-day working week, the days off in Bashkortostan in connection with the Eid al-Adha holiday are September 1, 2 and 3.
On the basis of Article 120 of the Labor Code of the Russian Federation, the non-working holiday Eid al-Adha is not included in the number of calendar days of paid leave.
