Number of schoolchildren increased by 13.5 thousand in Bashkiria

UFA, 28 August 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Rozaliya Valeeva/. In Bashkiria in the current academic year, 465 000 schoolchildren will go to school - by 13.5 thousand more than the last year. The number of first-graders is 52 thousand. According to the press service of the republican Cabinet of Ministers, by the beginning of the academic year new schools will be commissioned in Ufa, a renovated boarding school in Starosubhanguulovo, two new kindergartens in the regional centers of Gafuriy and Tatyshly districts. Until the end of the year, a school will be put into operation in the Ufa suburb of Nagaevo and five kindergartens.

In 2017, 308 secondary schools received 456.39 million rubles for overhaul repairs. Of these, 200 million from the republican budget were intended for the introduction of additional seats in the framework of liquidation of the evening shifts (funding was increased by 50.5 million rubles compared to 2016). Nearly 70 million rubles were spent on current repairs. These measures will increase the number of schoolchildren in the morning shifts to 90%.

In the last school year, 108 school buses were purchased. In the current year it is planned to purchase another 57 buses. Total, 1319 school buses deliver children to 872 general education organizations from 2557 settlements.
