Ufa State Petroleum Technological University and Altai Republic Government signed cooperation agreement

UFA, 31 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. Ramil Bakhtizin, Rector of Ufa State Petroleum Technological University (USPTU), visited Gorno-Altaisk (the Republic of Altai). Following the meeting, an agreement on cooperation between the region and the university was signed, the official website of the Altai Republic informs.

According to Deputy Chairman of the Government of the republic Natalia Ekeeva, the subject of the agreement is development and implementation of educational, scientific and practical projects and programs for social and economic development of the Altai Republic.

"The training of qualified personnel, especially of the technical profile, is one of the important directions of the regional development strategy", the Deputy Prime Minister noted.

In turn, Ramil Bakhtizin expressed readiness for constructive dialogue and close interaction. He noted that the Ufa State Petroleum Technological University had been granted the status of a "flagship university" of PJSC Gazprom. The university provides a wide range of courses - provides training for the industrial sector of the economy, services, ensuring compliance with the requirements to the level and education quality established by the state agencies and key consumers.
