Registration for International Marathon started in Ufa

UFA, 31 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The Ufa International Marathon will be held on September 17. Its distances are designed for participants with different levels of training. Athletes are encouraged to run the marathon and half marathon distances - 42.2 km and 21.1 km, respectively. Lovers of a healthy lifestyle can overcome distances of 10 km or 3 km. All of them will pass through the historical part of the Bashkir capital along the main sights - the Monument to Salavat Yulaev, the Congress Hall, the "7 girls" fountain, the "Ufa-Arena" ice palace and the monument to Mustai Karim.

It is expected that about five thousand athletes from 15 countries and 180 cities of the world will take part in the third Ufa International Marathon, the press service of the city administration reported.

The first Ufa International Marathon was held on September 27, 2015. It was attended by several thousand people from Ufa, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Orenburg, Chelyabinsk, St. Petersburg, as well as from China, Ukraine, Belarus, the United States.
