"Clean Ik" environmental campaign was held in Bashkiria

UFA, 19 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alim Faizov/. In Tuymazy district of the republic, one of the most significant projects aimed at protecting the environment was held. It was a social and environmental river campaign "Clean Ik", which has been taking place in the municipality for a month. The most active participants of the campaign were schoolchildren, students, representatives of youth public organizations, housing and communal services enterprises LLC Dorstroy and Ecology-T. The rural councils of Ilchimbetovo and Karatovo rural settlements organized collection of solid waste in the immediate vicinity of the mouth of the Ik River and the surrounding areas. They were assisted with the colleagues-ecologists from Bijbulyak district, who made their contribution and cleared the head of the Ik River.

Total, more than 650 people took part in the campaign. Volunteers and environment-concerned people collected more than one thousand bags of solid waste, the administration of the municipality reports.
