Ufa Planetarium will show documentary about global warming

UFA, 12 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. The Ufa City Planetarium will show a documentary film "6 Degrees Could Change the World". A free screening will take place at 19 o'clock on July 19 in the framework of an environmental film marathon dedicated to the Year of Ecology in Russia.

The authors of the film tell us what could happen on the planet if the temperatures suddenly rise. In particular, the creators of the film will show possible consequences of warming per each degree.

Experts calculated that for only 50 years the growth rate of the average temperature of the Earth's surface almost twice exceeded the indicators for the past 100 years. Changes that are observed by scientists in the atmosphere, oceans, ice caps, and glaciers indicate the presence of a warming process around the world as a response to greenhouse gas emissions in the past.

The film will be of interest both to schoolchildren and to the adult category of viewers, the Ufa Planetarium informs. During the year, such free sessions are planned every month.
