Visitors from Iran were interested in Bashkortostan tourism opportunities

UFA, 7 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. Visitors from Iran were interested in the tourist opportunities of Bashkortostan. A joint activity for the tourism development was discussed at Rosturizm section of the Russian-Iranian Socio-Cultural Forum in Ufa.
Iran is estimated as a safe country for tourists and a promising direction for the development of educational tourism, both for Russians and for residents of Bashkortostan. The country with its attractive natural conditions and historical sights is among the top ten countries of the world, most attractive for tourists. Iran provides a variety of recreation types - from hiking and skiing Elburz to a beach holiday on the shore of the Persian Gulf and the Caspian Sea. The famous seaside resort is the Kish Island in the Persian Gulf.
"It was managed to talk about the problems that are available in this direction, in particular, difficulties in obtaining visas, lack of direct flights, poor knowledge of each other", said Vyacheslav Gilyazetdinov, the Chairman of the State Committee of Bashkortostan for Entrepreneurship and Tourism. "We agreed on a mutual exchange of information, Moscow and St. Petersburg are ready to represent the tourist interests of Bashkortostan."
Russia, in turn, is also of interest to Iranians. Recently the number of Iranian tourists who visited the Russian Federation has grown significantly. The Iranian side appreciated the tourism potential of the Republic of Bashkortostan presented at the forum. The guests were shown a new halal tourist project or "green route", combining elements of ecotourism and confessional component. The tour includes visits to Muslim and Orthodox shrines in Ufa, Chishmy, Davlekanovo, Burzyan and Uchaly districts, it is dedicated to both Muslimism and Orthodoxy.
"If the people of Iran know where Bashkortostan with its beauties is located, everyone would be interested to come here and see these places for themselves," said the Special Assistant to the President of Iran for Ethnic and Religious Minorities' Affairs Ali Younesi. "In my turn, I would also like to invite the people living in Bashkiria to get acquainted with our country."
