UFA, 7 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Bashkortostan ranks 40th in Russia in terms of average life expectancy. It has reached 71 years in the republic by the results of the past year.
The average life expectancy in the Russian Federation for the past two years has increased by an average of 1.7 years and amounted to almost 72 years. The largest average life expectancy is in Ingushetia - 80.5 years. Dagestan is on the second place, Moscow on the third (76,7 years). The least figures are in the Republic of Tuva. There, the life expectancy is only 63.1 years. Next the Chukotka Autonomous District (64.1) and the Jewish Autonomous Region come.
Russia ranks 89th in the world rating. The leader in life expectancy is Japan, whose inhabitants live on average of 84 years.
The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov speaking at the meeting dedicated to the Day of the Medical Workers, noted that "within the framework of the all-Russian priority projects implementation, the goal is to achieve the life expectancy of 76 years in the republic by 2025. To solve this task, a lot should be done in terms of all components of the health care system improvment - prevention, medical care, rehabilitation, management of the industry".
According to Minister of Health RB Anvar Bakirov, currently infant mortality should be reduced by 32% and mortality of the able-bodied population by 25% to increase the life expectancy up to 72 years in the region.
In 2016, infant mortality in the republic decreased by 19% compared to 2015 and reached the lowest value in the history of the republic. For 10 years, it was reduced by half - from 12 to 6 per mille, the head of the Ministry of Health RB stated.
According to Anvar Bakirov, the main reasons for the death of children of the first year of life are problems, primarily related to the health of married couples. Also, the late detection of fetal malformations contributes to the infant mortality rate, leads to the birth of children with various abnormalities that require provision of high-tech medical care.
In order to change this situation, the regional department has developed a routing scheme for pregnant women. Now women with severe pathology are directed to maternity hospitals of the 2nd and 3rd levels, that significantly reduces the risk of infant and maternal mortality.
The share of children deaths under one year old still remains high, and these are often children from disadvantaged families. It happens due to the late addressing by their parents, when a child cannot be saved already, the minister believes.
In 2016 the Ministry of Health established a Centre for Situational and Project Solutions.
This Centre also can monitor such a parameter as "Birth rate of the population".
"You can get a birth rate structure per each specific territory, as well as information about cases of pregnant women delivery", explained the head of the medical department. "The Centre provides an opportunity to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the doctor's activities, to link the demographic data with accessibility of hospital admission, provision of outpatient and inpatient care. At present, monitoring of such parameters as patient routing, provision of inpatient, emergency medical care, assessment of economic efficiency of medical organizations and telemedicine consultations are being introduced.
