Russian schoolchildren will probably study at school for 12 years

UFA, 6 July 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Gulfiya Akulova/. The Russian schoolchildren will probably study at school for 12 years. A proposal to introduce an additional year in the secondary general schools was put forward by the leader of the LDPR party Vladimir Zhirinovsky, «Izvestiya» reports.

According to the politician, the 12th grade is necessary to even more clearly be defined with a future profession. In accordance with the proposal that the party intends to submit for consideration, those who have completed the 10th grade can get a certificate of secondary education and go to vocational school, 11th grade - to university, and in the 12th grade one can receive focused specialization. This will help to avoid mistakes in choosing future career. "Otherwise, half of school leavers make wrong choices, and then all their lives are unhappy", Zhirinovsky explained.
