Interregional Historical Reconstruction Festival "River of Time" starts in Bashkiria

UFA, 30 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. From June 30 to July 2, Birsk will host the second Interregional Historical Reconstruction Festival "River of Time". Its participants will be more than 120 re-enactors, representatives of historical reconstruction clubs from Ufa, Birsk, Samara, Dimitrovgrad, Chelyabinsk, Tolyatti, Kirov, Perm and other cities. According to the organizers' forecasts, the event will be attended by 5-7 thousand spectators.

A battle life of different epochs will be represented at the festival "River of Time": the 13th-century Russians, the 14th-century knights, Muscovite musketry with servicemen of the 17th century, Russian soldiers of the Patriotic War of 1812, World War I and World War II. The program also includes a review competition of best military camps from different eras, exhibitions and fairs of arts and crafts, cuisine of different peoples and ages, a large concert program and many more surprises. The main program of the festival will be held on July 1 from 11.00 to 17.00.

Organizers of the event are Bashkir State University, the Birsk branch of Bashkir State University with the assistance of the Russian Military Historical Society of the Republic of Bashkortostan.
