Russian-Iranian Forum "Golden Threads of the Silk Road" will be held in Ufa

UFA, 23 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Leila Aralbaeva/. On July 5-7 this year, the Russian-Iranian Forum "Golden Threads of the Silk Road" will be held in Ufa. The agreement on holding a social and cultural event was reached at a meeting with the delegation of the province of Merkezi of the Islamic Republic of Iran, which was held in the capital on July 18, 2016.

Representatives from all provinces of Iran and various cities of Russia will take part in the forum. The forum dedicated to interregional cooperation should help the people of the two countries to reach better understanding of the culture and national traditions of each other. The forum will also discuss new joint projects in the sphere of economy.

Currently, the organizing committee of the forum is studying the issues of its holding.
