What kind of recreation Bashkortostan residents prefer in summer

The State Committee for Emergency Situations of the Republic of Bashkortostan conducted a survey among residents of the republic regrading types of recreation they prefer in summer. The study involved over one hundred people. More than half of respondents consider recreation in Bashkortostan as attractive.

28.6% prefer to spend their free time on the reservoirs of the region. According to the information of the ministry, there are about one thousand rivers and almost three thousand lakes in the territory of the republic. 21.4% voted for extreme rest. It is noted that the number of people who prefer tourism, is growing every year. Only in 2016 the emergency rescue service of the State Committee of the Republic of Bashkortostan registered over 320 groups, among them 2,5 thousand children.

The same percentage prefers vacations abroad.

14,3% choose summer cottage rest, far from cities. 4.8% prefer just staying at home, watching TV. As for cultural recreation - museums, exhibitions, historical and archaeological sites, it remained the least popular - 2.4%.

"Apparently, statistics would show other figures in winter. Summer means travelling, fresh air and warm water reservoirs,” the department summed up. "Whichever type of recreation you choose, safety should be your priority".
