UFA, 16 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Alfiya Agliullina/. It is planned to double the amount of social support for large families in Bashkortostan from three to six thousand rubles a month. It was told the TASS by the Head of the Republic Rustem Khamitov commenting on the question of the doctor from Ufa during the "Direct Line with Vladimir Putin".

"It is considered currently to increase the size of the social support measures already available in the republic for large families with children aged one and a half to three years. This refers to a monthly cash payment to large low-income families for each child born the third or subsequent child, between the ages of one and a half to three years. It is proposed to increase this payment from three to six thousand rubles", said the Head of the Region. He also said that the family income should not exceed twice the subsistence minimum to be entitled for this allowance.

Rustem Khamitov added that under his decree, a working group on demographic and fertility issues was established, which was tasked with preparing an action plan for the period until 2020. The issue of introducing new measures of social support for student families is under consideration. As reported by Bashinform News Agency, in particular, it is proposed to establish a lump sum payment at the birth of a child in these families in the amount of 100 thousand rubles and to increase the monthly special social allowance to families of students and post-graduate students having children from 250 rubles to three thousand rubles.
