Bashkir State University signed cooperation agreement with Chinese University

UFA, 16 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. Bashkir State University has a new foreign partner - Anhui University (People's Republic of China, Hefei). The cooperation agreement was signed today, June 16, by the rectors of universities - Nikolay Morozkin and Cheng Hua. The ceremony was held within the framework of the visit of the official delegation of the Republic of Bashkortostan to China.

According to the press centre of the university, the agreement provides for cooperation between the two universities in the scientific, educational, cultural and other fields.

According to the document, first of all, partner universities will exchange students, undergraduates, graduate students and teachers, organize student practices and summer schools, develop programs of double degrees. Cooperation also involves implementation of joint research projects, participation in international Russian-Chinese projects, exchange of scientific and educational literature, publication of research papers by collaborators of the partner university in their periodicals, and joint preparation of graduate students. In addition, the agreement includes a clause on interaction in the field of culture - organization of exchanges of art teams, holding Days of Culture and Exhibitions.

Anhui University consists of 18 schools, 44 faculties, university students can get a bachelor's degree in 65 specialties, a master's degree in 119 specialties. The university staff has almost 2400 employees, among them 210 professors and 490 candidates of science. More than 28 thousand students study there.

Anhui University lays great emphasis to international exchange and cooperation. The University began to receive foreign students since 1980. In 2000, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China designated this university as a base for of the Chinese language and culture studies.
