14 health facilities will be built and modernized by 100th anniversary of Bashkortostan

UFA, 16 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. By the 100th anniversary of Bashkortostan, 14 health facilities will be built and modernized in the republic. This was announced by the Head of the Region Rustem Khamitov in his speech at a solemn meeting dedicated to the Medical Worker Day.

"We have performed and continue to perform large construction projects. Projects for construction and modernization of 14 health facilities worth more than 15 billion rubles with involvement of private investors and budgetary resources are prepared to the 100th anniversary of the republic", said Rustem Khamitov. "The largest of them is reconstruction of the buildings of the Republican Cardiology Centre with construction of a surgical department building, as well as an administrative building of the hospital of the Republican Clinical Psychotherapeutic Centre, annex construction to the surgical department building of the Republican Clinical Oncology Centre, a surgical department building of the Uchaly Central City Hospital, the children's polyclinic in Tuymazy and many other facilities".

According to the Head of the Republic much has been done in Bashkortostan to create a modern, effective system of rendering medical assistance, ensuring its high quality and accessibility in the republic. Last year alone, 54.5 billion rubles were allocated to the health care system.

The Head of the Region congratulated the industry representatives on their professional holiday and presented them state awards.
