Rustem Khamitov held meeting on teaching state and native languages

UFA, 15 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency/. The Head of Bashkortostan Rustem Khamitov held a meeting on teaching state and native languages in the region. Members of the Government of the Republic of Bashkortostan, heads of relevant ministries and departments, representatives of the scientific community took part in it.

It was noted at the meeting that following the results of the inspections conducted by the Federal Service for Supervision in Education, a number of violations of legislative norms were revealed in the regional general educational institutions in terms of textbooks use and teaching aids, standardization of the educational process, and inconsistency of local acts of some schools with the norms of federal and republican legislation on education.

Rustem Khamitov stressed that all conditions for studying the state languages and languages of the peoples of the republic had been created in Bashkortostan. There are qualified pedagogical and scientific personnel, good material and technical resources. Satisfaction of the schoolchildren needs in study of native languages should be a priority of the education management bodies and educational organizations activity provided that the federal and republican legislation is strictly observed. Moreover, the existing legal framework makes it possible to organize this work adequately.
