Felled trees turned into bear and marten in Ufa court yard

In the courtyard of the Ufa high-rise building in Kommunisticheskaya Street interesting figurines of animals – a Bear and a Marten appeared. The work is not yet complete, the third figurine - a Peacock is in the process of manufacturing. All wooden animals are installed on the children playground. Their feature is that the sculptures are made from felled trees.

A month ago, old poplars were pruned there. They have grown for many years, even before the construction of this nine-story house in 1982, since the time when there were inner suburbs. As you know, old trees pose a threat during a squally wind, and fluff from poplars is harmful for those suffering from allergies.

"The trees were old, rotten, and at first we were going to cut them at the trunk. But then our housing and utilities company had an idea to turn stumps of trees into fairy-tale characters, and they invited the master Radik Khimaletdinov", commented on the chairman of the House Committee Iskandar Zulkarnaev.

The bark was removed the stumps, and after a few days the ugly trunks began to turn into heroes of fairy tales, which are symbols of our republic and the city of Ufa. It should be noted that the employees of the housing and utilities company of this building show their creativity not for the first time: every winter for the children of this house an ice town with a decorated New-Year Tree, slides and ice sculptures are created.
