Post-graduate student from Bashkiria won two-million grant

The post-graduate student of Chemistry Faculty Bashkir State University Nikolay Patrushev became one of the winners of the All-Russian Start-up Battle, which was held within the InnoWeek in Tyumen. The 25-year-old scientist presented his invention - a mobile milk quality analyzer Scanomilk, took the third place among all participants and won a two-million grant, the press centre of Bashkir State University reported.
100 the most interesting innovative projects from 31 regions of Russia took part in the Start-up Battle. All of them have previously passed extra-mural selection. The authors defended them before the competitive commission and potential investors. Participants covered five areas: IT, oil and gas, new materials, agricultural biotechnology, innovations in medicine. Nikolay Patrushev won in the most popular section - "Information Technology" - it accounted for more than half of all projects. The young scientist will spend the won money for the development of his project: he wants to create a device using this idea and the model, and plans to do it this year already.
