International and Russian experts will discuss reserves development in Ufa
UFA, 5 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Dmitry Slezin/. The reserves development will be a key topic of the International Environment Forum, which will be held in Ufa from June 6 to 8. International and Russian experts of the sphere will discuss it at a plenary session named "Russian Reserves – Developing Through Protection", as well as during panel discussions and round tables.
The Republic of Bashkortostan has a unique natural heritage. A number of the specially protected natural territories have received the UNESCO international status after uniting into the "Bashkir Urals" biosphere reserve. Ecological and educational projects are implemented in its territory, conditions for wild-hive beekeeping development are created, and elements of the "green economy" are introduced there that ensure a high degree of ecological friendliness of its infrastructure facilities. Currently, the region is working on creation of the first geopark in Russia - a landscaped area that has natural geological objects.
The Ministry of Nature Management and Ecology RB invites interested persons, representatives of specially protected natural areas, scientific and public organizations and companies to take an active part in the events of the forum.
