Bashkiria improved its positions in environmental rating of Russian regions in spring
UFA, 5 June 2017. /Bashinform News Agency, Elmira Sabirova/. The all-Russian public organization "Green Patrol" formed the next environmental rating following the results of the spring of 2017. Bashkortostan in the overall rating improved its position, rising by two lines in comparison with the previous results, and took the 57th place. In the rating of the subjects of the Volga Federal District the republic was on the 10th line.
The most "clean" regions included Tambov Region, Altai, Altai Territory, Chuvashia, Ulyanovsk and Belgorod regions, Moscow, St. Petersburg.
Orenburg, Moscow, Leningrad, Sverdlovsk and Chelyabinsk Regions were at the very end of the list.
The rating takes into account environmental, industrial-ecological and socio-ecological indices.
